COMMITTEE DUTIES

Secretary: CEO of the club - Takes minutes of the exec. meetings, prepares annual budget, reports on membership, follows up on what the committee members are doing.

Education Coordinator: Arranges for the program for the year (With the assistance of the Committee and Staff Rep)

Equipment Curator: Maintains the equipment of the club, suggests purchases of new equipment, arranges for repairs beyond his/her abilities.
A small honorarium is involved. Apply for this position by letter to Ross McCallum, Staff Advisor, Hart House.

Chemical Curator: Maintains supply of photographic chemicals (weekly filling of chemical jars on the shelf from supply cupboard), arranges for waste disposal of waste chemicals (U of T Hazardous waste disposal, 978 7000), Orders new supplies of bulk chemicals.
A small honorarium is involved.

Exhibition Manager: Suggests any changes to the exhibition rules, Suggests names of judges for the Exhibition, Assists with the physical arrangements for the judging.

Librarian: Arranges to be present in the club rooms at least once a week for an hour to open the library, checks out books, suggests new books for the collection, New magazines. May have a Co-Librarian to keep library open another day.

Publicity Director: Arranges for publicity for events, especially the Annual Exhibition. Maintains the club web site on the World Wide Web. (Could be 2 positions)

Chair: Chairs meetings, assists with the operation of the club. Pitches in to help as required.

Graduate Representatives (2) : Senior members, who assist with the operation of the club.

Staff Representative: Acts as liaison with Hart House, books rooms for meetings, assists with the Budget, does a lot of behind the scenes assistance.
